Sometimes think the greatest fun from watching movie is that the kind of pleasure when a wonderful story which I totally immersed, and could be able to extricate myself. The end of the film still is sentimental, or pleasure for the characters, the kind of complete state of ecstasy is the best. Unfortunately, the "Benjamin Button" did not let me feel that pleasure. More regrettable is that this film was well shot, but just loses a little bit of...... It's so almost moving.
A story setting of make people curious, a great background story, an eternal theme, along with gold writer of the "Forrest Gump", the great David Fincher, super cast members, impeccable special effects ... ... it seems that the film must be successful. Unfortunately, it is just lack of a little bit character development - less of the most important emotional impact; the film will inevitably become dull. I understand Benjamin Button this person, but he did not let me enter his life.
Really admire the courage of David Fincher to challenges himself. But he just proved once again that he is a well-deserved technical magician through the film, but do not let himself change into a sentimentality person. Pitt and Blanchett are completely unable to make up this regrets. Although from the effects that we could look their young or old, which is very interesting, but it only stays on the surface. Pitt’s expression does not as touch people's hearts as Hanks, but Blanchett beside the glabrous face, nothing left. As the love story which occupy the most space in the film, only have some explain when they meet again after two years, let me slightly saddened, as a nearly 3 hours film, this moment cames too late.

However, do not misunderstand me, this film is well-made. Just let me can not have resonance; can not let me have any emotional catharsis, nothing more.
